Joule is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality heating, hot water, and ventilation systems, dedicated to delivering complete renewable heating solutions for residential and commercial properties. Established in 2008, we have consistently expanded our product range and services to meet the evolving needs of our customers
2008
- Joule began as a small manufacturer of domestic copper hot water cylinders in Ireland, rapidly increasing market share by producing various copper cylinder variants and offering next-day specials.
2009
- We expanded to a larger manufacturing facility in Dublin, introducing the Cyclone unvented cylinder, known for its sleek design and impressive technical specifications.
2010
- Recognising the growing demand for renewable energy integration, Joule launched a range of solar thermal solutions, providing environmentally friendly options for hot water heating.
2011
- To better serve our UK customers, we established a manufacturing and distribution center in Liverpool, enhancing our product availability and delivery times.
2012
- We entered the air source heat pump market, partnering with leading manufacturers like Samsung to offer complete system solutions that reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
2013
- Joule introduced the Smart Plumb pre-plumbed system, streamlining installation processes, and launched the InvaHeat underfloor heating brand, providing efficient heating solutions for various building types.
2014
- We expanded our product line to include the Riva aluminium radiator range, designed to operate efficiently with low-temperature heat pumps.
2017
- Joule launched the InvaVent range of ventilation systems, offering centralized mechanical extract ventilation (MEV) and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) solutions to ensure optimal indoor air quality.
2018
- We acquired RM Cylinders Ltd, enhancing our manufacturing capabilities and geographical reach, and opened a new Technical Sales and Design facility in Galway to better serve our clients in the western regions.
2019
- We moved our facilities out of the Wirral and into the RM factory at Castleford.
2022
- We moved to our new permanent location in Pontefract and launched the new Kodiak Heatpump.
2024
- Invested in robotic welding lines, reconfiguring & improving the entire production facility. This year also seen the introduction of our Modulair EAHP.
